Whatever about the content, the letter was far too long. Editors' eyes glaze over after about three paragraphs unless the missive is, for example, from a senior Catholic Church figure announcing he's coming out and setting up a massage parlour in Thurles.

Do you believe it is then normal on a messageboard for mentions of a banned poster to be deleted as they appear on threads or posts? Does that not strike you as bizarre?...
