Re: Perrys Bestwestern

Sounds as if they could have been over booked, with all these booking websites. Regardless, they are booked to capacity, so if they did have some flood damage.....they would have no alternative but to try and relocate some of their guests.

Re: Roof on Millenium Stadium for final

I attended three HC finals in the MS and the roof was closed on each occasion. It really is an amazing feeling when you walk out to your seating area and observe a room with 80K people in it. Like the previous MS finals, the atmosphere should be magnificent next Saturday, and I think the closed roof...

Re: Munster -v- Leinster (Celtic Grand Final)

If you are thinking of stopping in Limerick, best get in quickly - some hotel prices have doubled in the past 20 minutes! They'll be left with a lot of empty overpriced rooms so. We'll be lucky if more than two or three thousand travel. In fairness, most rooms are/were reasonably priced, however ju...

Re: Blues Talk tv

this is the wrong thread, but what the whingefest neglect (as do the rugby club dudes) to mention is how the tigers tried to illegally seal of every ruck and that the pass to tuilagi for the denied try was also forward. and how they also failed to release the tackler at every opportunity... anyway ...

Re: Munster V Leinster

Interesting to see Ryan getting in ahead of Leamy. Yeah, I know Leamy's form hasn't been great of late but short of another lineout option I'm not sure what Ryan brings to the backrow that's any better really. Interesting calls on our backrow too, with O'Brien back at openside for the first time si...

Re: Attendance on Saturday

I went - only because I was given (i.e. free) 2 tickets yesterday afternoon. I was on the halfway line in the East Lower and looking at the South Terrace and the West Stand, I was guessing that it was 80 - 85% full and I guessed at 42k. But I must have over estimated. However the athmosphere was cr...
