Re: Glasgow at Home, Sunday the 28th, 5.30pm
 Bookies have it Leinster 1/12, Glasgow 8/1 and a draw 50/1. The handicap is 18 points. All things considered Glasgow could be with a speculative tenner Great to see Ulster fail to pick up the bonus point, any type of win here makes the game in ravenhill irrelevant. I don't think that's true....

Re: Pro14 - Sooner SA teams the better
On behalf of everyone who have no interest in rugby, no.
There are too many more deserving who need to be in front of them.
Allowing the rugby to continue in the bubbles is about all we can ask for.

Re: Pro 16
I hope we don't go down a road where we end up making all the mistakes they made in super rugby. If it were 18 teams, you could have 3 conferences of 6 with a Southern hem, ire and Italy, Scotland and Wales. But I think the mixed conferences is a better way to avoid the same mistakes. So 2 conf with...

Re: Pro14 - Sooner SA teams the better
There has been no announcement but logic would dictate they would extend the pro 14 season to pay all the usual games. Lancaster was quoted stating that was his assumption too.

Re: 6 Nations 2021
I assume when people say scrap the central contracts, they don't mean and then spend the money on brandy and cigars. Keep the money in the system but come up with a different finding model, be it match bonuses, tournament bonuses, or more funding for the provinces, etc. so that current form is more ...

Re: 6 Nations 2021
To those who say we don't have an attacking plan, we do. At a ruck, stand where you expect to recieve the ball. When you do, look up and then decide what to do. I'm not saying it's a good plan, but given everybody is doing it, it must be the plan.

If he can get a letter from his job saying the business meeting is essential, then it is within the rules and he should go if he wants. I don't see how that sends a message one way or the other to people about going on holidays. The decision to give him and all politicians the vaccine shound be tota...

Re: Corona Virus
The 1.5% are the number of people that have caught the virus before or during the journey to enter the country. They give it to x number of people here. They give it to y, etc etc. X and y are put down as community transmission. But if you stopped the person coming in (or properly quarantined them) ...

Re: Pro 16
So if there's no Rainbow Cup, we've no domestic rugby after March.... until September?? Officially we only have plan A (or plan D at this stage). But it's likely if the rainbow Cup is cancelled they will add on extra games to flesh out the pro14/12. There is enough weekends to play a complete home ...

Re: A whiff of Cordite
I don't think they will do away with the conferences. With all the changes being forced, they will want to keep some stability. And the adoption of conferences is a strategic part of the plan for the league. It would be seen as a bit of a climb down if they got rid of them now, even if only one seas...

Re: A whiff of Cordite
Cardiff now have played 12 games ... is there a plan for more conference games after the initial 11 and if so dose anybody know the plan? That Cardiff game is from round 14. The plan is to play 16 rounds and then a final. The 16 rounds are your own conference home and away, and the other conference...

Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1
But that's just it. The deadline is not an arbitrary line in the sand where a decision floats off the decision tree. It was probably a zoom call set up a few days previous when they got the original results, with a bunch of senior people who didn't want to be working Christmas eve. And Leinster were...

Re: Connacht 2019/20/21
Why did they go for a scrum on a penalty in the 81st minute when they were 9 points down and only had 2 tries. The penalty was very kick able. Would have got them a losing BP the same as a try would have.

Re: Heineken Cup 2020/21
I assume Toulon were questioning how only 2 players were deemed close contacts on the infected player's team (with whom you assume he had spent more than 80 minutes with during the week) when 12 players were deemed close contacts on the opposition team. I'm certainly questioning it anyway. And after...

Re: Heineken Cup 2020/21
Was it a farce when ulster won without the English teams competing? Was it a farce when an Italian team took part without having to qualify? Will it be a farce of we let the south Africans compete in the future? Anything can be a farce from the right point of view if you want it to be. Some people t...

Option 1
Complete games during 6 nations weeks with squads minus internationals.
Option 2
Reduce QF to one weekend - the 2nd of the 2. Complete games on the weekend prior.

Italy v Fiji is now cancelled. Fiji have gone from 1 to 4 to 29 cases in just over a week. They might want to look again at their covid bubbles. But it shows how quickly things can get out of hand with the disease. They might not be able to play any game at this stage. Sent from my SM-A520F using Ta...

Re: Pro 14 - General Thread
One of the biggest things we need to see for the pro14 is what happens with Wales post gatland. Rugby logic is that you need to use the Pro 14 as a base for success for the national team. Ireland has successful Pro 14 teams and success at national level. Scotland has seen impovements in both. Italy ...
