Re: Heineken Champions Cup Final 2023
I finally watched the game today, 8 days later, such has been the pain ( I was in Marseille too!) Our exits killed us, our scrum then got milled as pressure was relentless despite heroic defensive work. I appreciate the team selections over the last 2 weeks were a calculated gamble - and we all woul...

Re: 6 Nations 2023 - Ireland
Cahill has noticed JOB is on the pitch. Fair play Baird was at least 5 minutes on the pitch before cahill noticed him. Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk Neither Cahill or Lenihan could pronounce Capuozzo correctly. Very lazy!! I switched over to ITV as it pissed me off - bonus was Darce won on co...

Re: Montpellier v Leinster Friday 17th 8pm
Why was the game not delayed till Sunday to allow more space?? If the ground was waterlogged, they would have delayed it. If we get through, the boys will be in a super bubble in 2022 to avoid this happening again. And no-one can go to weddings until we're in the off season!

Re: 6 Nations 2021
Jimmy's defence was poor when he joined us but he sorted it out pretty quickly. The fact that he came into the Ireland camp having been out injured for several months meant he has no game time under his belt which won't have helped his sharpness. He's defo lacked a bit of the explosiveness we saw we...

Re: Pro14 season suspended
As the restrictions are being lifted a lot more quickly, I believe there would be minimal risk in a few months of having full attendance at the RDS, lets' say with mandatory face masks even. So everyone is outdoors where transmission opportunities are minimal. All indoors facilities would be closed ...

Re: Pro 12 Semi-final vs Scarlets
Was so disappointed after last Friday, whatever about me, I think it will take the players a lot longer to recover from the systems failure. Jonny took that knock right in front of us and it was clear he wasn't right after that. Why didn't the coaching team make a call far earlier to replace him - a...

Re: Leinster vs Castres Sat Oct 15th @ 15:15
Was bit surprised at some of the gaps in the stands today. But Joey is pure box office - it's a joy to watch him play - you would pay just to watch him play. Is he wearing "Billy's Boots" - lads born in the 60s will get this ? PS Has Zane ever actually won a kick chase garryowen challenge?...

Re: Ulster v. Leinster Sat 30th 3pm
The Ulster assistant coach in the sideline interview says "they're offering not a lot in attack - their shape is very predictable". Absolutely right. It's worrying to me that we seem to play by numbers too often and not with heads up - watch how we shovel the ball wide on 45 mins, offer no...

Re: Connacht vs Leinster 26th March K/O @ 17:15
While he has been great for us so many times, Mads seems to have half a leg in France. Overall the better, more intelligent, more committed and better passing team team won. Just look at their exit from the 22 in second half compared to us in the first with Luke McGrath's rubbish box kicks - why was...

Re: Warriors v Leinster Friday 19.35 Sky
We were so bright in the first half and so predictable in the second half. In the second half we went with one up runners most of the time which Glasgow lapped up. We missed someone with the smarts to realise we needed to go wide - we made it too easy for Glasgow to read us. I thought Clancy pinged ...

Re: Dragons V Leinster Pro12 2015/16
Couldn't agree more. Our maul in attack is useless - this should be Leo's forte. Also, we seem to be useless from 5 yards out when attacking - endless phases but we don't have the smarts, speed or intensity to get over the line. One man going on his own is rarely going to make his way over - it's re...

Re: Dragons V Leinster Pro12 2015/16
what kind of an eegit is Noel Reid? He should have cleared his lines instead of tapping and going in his 22 in these conditions. Overall how can intelligent blokes off the pitch be so brainless on it? You too Ferg, with that stupid shoulder charge. I could see us even losing that bonus point due to ...

Re: Wasps v Leinster Saturday 3.15 BT Sports
We lost the second half 36 Nil! The players - almost all internationals - need to hold their hands up. Leo needs to put down a marker for himself and also to hold his hands up!

Re: Wasps v Leinster Saturday 3.15 BT Sports
our defence of rolling mauls/5 yard lineouts has been shite in big games against the better teams. Leo needs to address this. Also we are seeing more wasted endless unproductive phases close to the opposition lines. Lots to work on!

My own physio who looks after elite athletes as well as crocks like me says that from her professional perspective Jonny is not right and is suffering after the recent history of heavy knocks. Literally he doesn't look right and is not his normal sharp self - hence the unusual high error count. She ...

Re: Toulon v Leinster
Johnny has been out of sorts for a while. My own physio says that he needs specialist physio treatment to address the bangs he has taken in recent months. At a minimum he needs to be rested. Johnny is not GOD and should not still be on the field if he's not right. He is only performing at 6 out of 1...
