Match Preview: Ospreys vs Leinster Rugby

by Jim O'Connor, 2009-03-06

It's another week off from the tension of Ireland's Grand Slam campaign, but there'll be no respite for Leinster. Like two weeks ago, they have a trip to Wales and once again it's a vital match in their quest to win back to back Magners League championships. Victory will put them ahead of the second placed Ospreys and will put them top of the table (if only for twenty fours hours with Munster playing the Dragons on Saturday). Match Preview: Leinster Rugby vs Cardiff Blues

by Jim O'Connor, 2009-01-09

The next two weeks represents the critical stage of Leinster's season. On the other hand, should results go another way, they could be out of Europe at the group stages for the second season running and stuck in the middle of the Magners table. The results of the next three matches against Cardiff, Wasps and Edinburgh will not only define their season, they could also define the Leinster career of coach Michael Cheika!

Match Report: Leinster Rugby vs Connacht Rugby

by Sarah Lennon, 2009-01-06

Leinster took on Connacht with a modicum of revenge in mind. In October they had suffered defeat at the Sportsgrounds to their Western counterparts by an agonising single point. On that night Michael Cheika had elected to rest a lot of his bigger name players, and this time around there was again a slightly experimental look to the team.
