Match Preview: Leinster Rugby vs Ospreys

by Jim O'Connor, 2010-04-15

Last Friday was simply one of the great nights at the RDS. Clermont were possibly the finest team Leinster have ever hosted and they brought with them three thousand fans who were quite magnificent. Leinster has never seen a travelling support from France like it, from their march out of town to the ground to the colour, noise and passion they brought to the match itself. They were also very gracious in defeat after the match, despite their crushing disappointment. Dublin publicans certainly did very well out of them and will look forward to the next time they visit!

Now that the Six Nations Championship is over, there will be no more pesky interruptions from Ireland. It's all Leinster, all the way from now until (hopefully) the end of May. Of course the Six Nations ended in disappointment and no doubt both players and fans will be relieved to return to their provinces this weekend.

Match Preview: Leinster Rugby vs Glasgow Warriors

by Jim O'Connor, 2010-03-17

It's live Thursday night rugby at the RDS!!!!

Doesn't sound quite right does it? The snow that blighted Dublin in early January forced the postponement of the original fixture, so now it's
squeezed in on an unfamiliar evening before the last match of the Six Nations.
