As predicted, Leinster decided to take out their frustration about their narrow win away to Bath by hammering the same team at the Aviva stadium last week. Right from the start, they set about the struggling English side with a hunger for tries. As with the Glasgow home match, they reacted to a second row being sin-binned by outscoring the opposition two tries to nil while he was gone. Once the excellent Luke Fitzgerald scored his second try, the game was over and it was just a question of how many tries they'd score.

In a major golf tournament the Saturday is called 'moving day', in that the players who are going to contend move into position and others drop away. The fourth week of the Heineken Cup pool stages is quite similar. By the end of it, everyone has a good idea of who's going to get out of their groups and who can basically concentrate on their domestic competition for the rest of the season.

Ah Bath!

The small city in the south-west of England holds special memories for Leinster fans. Possibly the most beautiful city in England, Leinster visited two years in a row back in January 2005 and 2006. They won the first game with a late smash and grab raid when David Holwell and Malcolm O'Kelly scored tries in the final minutes. Those scores secured a 27-23 win, but in truth Bath had been the better team by far.

Match Preview: Leinster Rugby vs Cardiff Blues

Leinster take on Cardiff in the RDS tomorrow hoping to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to nine games. They haven't lost since the shock defeat to Glasgow back in September and last week they successfully avoided a potential landmine by winning away in Treviso. After losing there last season Joe Schmidt would have been delighted with the win, especially after sending out a team with ten changes from the previous week.

First the good news! Thanks to FIRA doing a deal with Italian national broadcaster RAI, and RTE taking their feed, we'll actually be able to see this match. On Leinster's last trip to Italy in Aironi we had to rely on twitter feeds and radio updates which can be pretty frustrating.
