Rarely have injuries come in such bunches and at such inopportune moments, but it seems that Leinster are always left without a full strength squad following the Autumn Internationals. Blame could, and probably should, be pointed at Declan Kidney, who insisted on risking both D'Arcy and O'Driscoll after both Kearney and Fitzgerald were ruled out indefinitely. Only the former survived the battle fit, and O'Driscoll was limited to sideline influence in France at the weekend.

Without a win on the road this season and without talisman Brian O'Driscoll, the majority of Leinster fans travelled to Wembley more in hope than in expectation. The London venue became the 91st to hold a Heineken Cup game and with an impressive attendance of 45,892, you can understand why Saracens moved the match to the home of English soccer. The main talking point pre-match however was the red posts, which seemed to blend in with the seats behind.

Leinster and Saracens will meet tomorrow for the first time ever in a competitive match. Saracens have moved the match to Wembley stadium, as they've done for many of their Premiership fixtures in the last two seasons. So, it will be a unique opportunity for Leinster players to play at the home of English football and with a travelling support of 5,000 or so expected there should be no shortage of noise to inspire them.
