Back to the scene of the crime!

Leinster return to the Stoop for the first since the notorious "Bloodgate" incident in the Heineken Cup quarter-final of 2009. That incident has been talked about to death but it's a shame that the game is mainly remembered for that incident as it was a cracking match. There wasn't a whole lot of scoring of course, two Felipe Contepomi penalties versus one Mike Brown try in a 6-5 win.

Leinster looked in deep trouble at half-time last week against Wasps. After a bright start, they returned to their familiar pattern of error-strewn rugby to give Wasps a nine-point lead at half-time. However they deserve credit for the character they showed in winning the second half 14-0 to take a vital victory. It's a regret that they didn't get a final try to take a bonus point and deny Wasps one, but most fans would have just taken the win at half-time.

In a quality line-up of quarter-finals of what is sadly the last ever Heineken Cup, the battle between the last two winners just about takes the cake. Leinster take on the champions Toulon in the first ever meeting between the two sides. Toulon are relatively new to the top table, having risen meteorically from the French lower divisions to European champions in just seven years.
