Having secured a quarter final berth Leinster travelled to the West of England to take on Gloucester, hoping to secure a home quarter final draw. Leinster had beaten their Premiership counterparts in round one and despite having little to play for Gloucester were keen to gain revenge.

Having won the group last weekend, Leinster travel to Gloucester hoping for a win to secure a home draw. The fact that any home fixture will almost certainly not take place in Dublin will not dim Leinster's enthusiasm. A "home" fixture, even if it takes place in Ravenhill or in Britain, is still a better option than going into the den of the opposition.

Match Report: Leinster Rugby vs Edinburgh

All eyes had been trained on the match between Agen and Gloucester on Friday evening, and following the French team's victory, Leinster knew that victory over their Magners League rivals would bring progress to the last 8. The recent record between these two teams didn't seem to auger well for a Leinster victory with Edinburgh prevailing in 7 of the previous ten contests, the most recent of which saw Leinster lose by a single point at Murrayfield stadium in round two. Donnybrook was the setting for the round 5 match, and the old ground was abuzz with music from the Bective stand and the crowd in full voice awash with flags.

Match Report: SU. Agen vs Leinster Rugby

Leinster travelled to the south of France looking to complete a second victory in their double header versus SU Agen. The French side had rung the changes for this clash, with Leinster keeping faith in the same fifteen that began the game the previous Saturday in Dublin.
