Leinster (16) 38 - 23 (18) Glasgow Warriors
Donnybrook, Dublin

Leinster notched up their second bonus point win in 6 days with this victory over the Glasgow Warriors. Despite being without a number of front-line players, Leinster started the better, and were unlucky to be behind at the break, after two late tries from Glasgow number 8, Jon Petrie and wing Thom Evans.

The home side started well and took the early advantage from a Kearney penalty on 4 minutes, before Keith Gleeson scored Leinsters opening try in the 12th minute in the difficult conditions in Donnybrook.

The visitors kept themselves in touch through the boot of fly-half Dan Parks, but Leinster were rewarded with a Brian Blaney try in the 28 minute, their second of the evening. This appeared to spur the visitors on and they quickly replied with two tries of their own in the 32nd and 38th minutes. Kearney rounded off the half with a penalty for Leinster.

In the second half, Leinster came out the stronger and in the difficult conditions got the first score of the second period with a try from Denis Hickie in the 44th minute. No sooner had Leinster regained the lead, however, when Tkachuk popped up to score Glasgows' third try of the night, as the lead was swapped beck and forth.

Soon after, in the 50th minute, a Kearney penalty gave Leinster a lead that they never relinquished. Leinster scored two more tries through Chris Whitaker and captain Jamie Heaslip to secure the bonus point, as the home side eased home past the Warriors.
