Connacht vs Leinster Rugby,
Sportsground, Galway,
29th September 2006, 18:30

Leinster will be hoping for a return to winning ways in this tricky derby encounter against Connacht at the Sportsground in Galway. Leinster were beaten away from home by the Llanelli Scarlets and Connacht could only manage a draw at home against the Edinbugh Gunners in their last outings.

Leinster are currently sweating on the fitness of a number of players injured in that match in Wales, including Robert Kearney (hamstring), Luke Fitzgerald (back) and Guy Easterby (dead leg). On the plus side, Leinster can call on the likes of Girvan Dempsey, Brian O'Driscoll and Shane Horgan for the first time this season, with both Gordon D'Arcy and Malcolm O'Kelly nearing a return to full fitness.

For those of you wishing to make the journey to Galway on Friday, a bus has been arranged and you can sign up on the forum, here. It should be noted that the game is at 6:30PM and WILL NOT BE TELEVISED, so your only way to see this one will be to be there on the day.
